  • ½ kilogram of green beans
  • 1 red onion
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup of water
  • Salt and black pepper
Preparación / Directions
  1. Slice the red onion into thin slices, and remove the tips of the green beans.
  2. In a large saucepan place the cup of water, olive oil, a pinch of salt and a pinch of ground black pepper. Heat it before adding the green beans and onion.
  3. Cover the pan and cook until green beans are tender but still crisp, for about 10 minutes.
  4. Uncover the pan and allow to cook until the water evaporates. Try to move frequently. After 5 minutes you will notice that the green beans are fully tender and the onion has started to brown.
  5. Turn off the heat and add the balsamic vinegar, mix and serve.
