- 12 large strawberries
- 90 grams of dark chocolate
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 100 grams of almonds, walnuts, pistachios or sprinkles
- Wooden toothpicks
- Wash, disinfect and dry well each of the strawberries.
- Side of the stem, insert a toothpick into each strawberry.
- Cut into chunks and melt in a double boiler.
- Once chocolate is melted, dip the strawberries to coat and let stand 2 minutes on a cooling rack or baking sheet lined with wax paper. Then roll them in chopped nuts and put again in cooling rack.
- Finally, put the chocolate covered strawberries into freezer for 15 minutes until chocolate hardens.
