  • 350 grams of beef skirt steak
  • 1 onion
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 2 green chilies
  • 2 lemons
  • 2 tablespoons of white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • Salt
  • Pepper

  • Corn tostadas

Preparación / Directions
  1. Let's begin by placing the beef in a pot along with the bay leaves, salt, and enough water to cover it. Bring it to a boil. If you're using a pressure cooker, cook for 25 minutes after it reaches pressure. If you're using a regular pot, let it simmer for at least an hour until it's fully cooked and easy to shred.
  2. While the meat is cooking, you can prepare the other ingredients. Start by dicing the onion and tomatoes into small cubes. Slice the green chilies into rounds. If you're including lettuce, wash it and cut it into thin strips.
  3. Once the meat is cooked, finely shred it and then season it with the lemon juice, vinegar, and olive oil.
  4. Lastly, mix the shredded meat with the fresh ingredients, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
  5. Serve the beef medley accompanied by sliced avocado, corn tostadas, and fresh lettuce. Enjoy the delicious flavors and textures that this dish brings to your table!
